Frock of Ages was founded on the premise that good fashion is timeless...and vintage fashion is often better.  We select our vintage clothing with a careful eye, choosing only those pieces having that sometimes indescribable something extra.  What is it about certain items of clothing that sets them apart?  Is it the cut?  The fabric?  The spirit of the original owner?  A feeling when we wear it that we are somehow more connected to the past?  Perhaps it is simply good design that stands the test of time...  Whatever it may be, it is what we are about at Frock of Ages.  We love unearthing vintage treasures and giving them a second life.  Helping someone find the piece that suits them to perfection and makes them happy is a very nice way to make a living... ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

We have been in Atlanta since 1990, providing vintage clothing and accessories not only to our discerning customers, but also to theatre, television, movies and fashion publications (not to mention the occasional high school band, but that's another story...).  We have won many awards over the years, a lovely bonus for doing what we love.  As of May 25, we will have closed our shop in the Candler Park neighborhood, but we are opening a boutique in the Kudzu Antique Market at 2928 E. Ponce de Leon Ave. in Decatur in June of 2008.  The folks at Kudzu have a wonderful 25,000 square foot space full of treasures, so you might want to allow yourself a whole afternoon to explore!  Everyone there is pleasant and friendly, so we are happy to be joining them.  We will also be doing trunk shows with the vintage costume jewelry and accessories beginning in the fall.  So we will still be around, just differently.  You can call us at 404.370.1006 if you have a special request.  If you see something you love on the site but would like to try it on, please email us at appointments@frockofages.com and we will arrange a fitting.   We do buy vintage clothing and accessories from individuals.  Just send an email to webuyvintage@frockofages.com with some details about what you have and a photo, if possible.  We'll talk!
